IREDA Designates Top Brass for SEBI Compliance and Disclosures

NEW DELHI — The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has officially designated its top executives to manage material disclosures under Regulation 30(5) of the SEBI Regulations. This move ensures that all significant corporate events are reported to the NSE and BSE with speed and transparency.
The Authorized Team
The IREDA Board has split the compliance responsibilities between decision-makers and disclosure officers:
- Determination of Materiality: Shri Pradip Kumar Das (Chairman & Managing Director) and Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty (Director Finance & CFO) are tasked with deciding which information or events are significant enough to impact investors.
- Official Filings: Smt. Ekta Madan (Company Secretary) and Shri Tusar Kant Parida (Executive Director, Finance & Accounts) have been authorized to execute the actual disclosures to the stock exchanges.
Strategic Governance
By formalizing this chain of command, IREDA aims to strengthen its corporate governance and ensure that market participants receive consistent, verified information. This internal structure is particularly crucial as the agency continues to scale its financing for major renewable energy projects across India in 2026.
